Hormone Balancing Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp high-quality matcha powder
  • 2 oz hot water (about 175°F)
  • 6-8 oz unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • 1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of vanilla powder
  • Sweetener to taste

Instructions

    Sift the matcha into a cup or bowl to remove any clumps.

    Add hot water (about 175°F—not boiling).

    Whisk vigorously until frothy and smooth with no clumps.

    Heat your milk on the stovetop or steam it.

    Add optional adaptogens like maca powder and cinnamon to the milk while heating.

    Froth the milk if desired.

    Pour the warm milk over your whisked matcha.

    Add sweetener if desired and stir gently.

I love this latte because it gives me sustained energy without the crash. The L-theanine in matcha helps keep me calm and focused. If you're sensitive to caffeine, start with 1/2 teaspoon and see how you feel.
