About Me

Hi, I'm Cory

I'm a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and Integrative Health Coach based in the Bay Area, helping women who are burned out, exhausted, and struggling with chronic health challenges finally uncover the root causes and find their path forward.

I believe you deserve more than generic advice and rigid protocols. You deserve someone who will truly listen, look at the whole picture, and help you understand YOUR unique body.

A Collaborative Approach

I work alongside physicians, naturopaths, and other practitioners—not instead of them. My role is to provide the ongoing nutrition and lifestyle support that helps everything else work better.

When your care team is aligned, healing happens faster. I welcome referrals from healthcare practitioners who want their patients to have dedicated nutrition support.

I work virtually, with in-person sessions available upon request for local East Bay clients.

Getting to Know Me

My Story

I know what it feels like to be dismissed. To be told "your labs look fine" when you know something is wrong. To feel like you're doing everything right but still feel terrible.

Before my health struggles redirected my path, I worked in research. I studied disease ecology at San Francisco State University, investigating how the microbiome impacts health outcomes—years before gut health became a wellness buzzword. That scientific foundation informs how I approach your health today—with systems thinking and an evolutionary perspective, seeking root causes, not quick fixes.

For years, I struggled with chronic digestive issues that no one could explain. I was young, I was "healthy on paper"—but I knew something wasn't right. Eventually I was diagnosed with Celiac disease. I also developed rheumatoid arthritis, dealing with joint pain and damage that made everyday life harder than it needed to be. On top of that, I was battling hormonal imbalances, fatigue, brain fog, and a body that just didn't feel like my own.

The turning point came when I discovered that these conditions had led to bone loss—something that should never happen to a woman my age. It was a wake-up call. Through functional nutrition and lifestyle changes, I've been able to manage my Celiac and RA, and I realized that if I'd had the right support earlier, so much of this could have been prevented.

"If I'd had someone who looked at the whole picture—my symptoms, my lifestyle, my unique body—things could have been different. That's the support I wanted. And now, it's the support I provide."

I dove deep into functional nutrition and integrative health. I learned how interconnected our body systems are—how hormones affect digestion, how stress affects hormones, how food can be medicine when it's personalized to your needs.

Through this journey, I was able to reduce inflammation to the point where I no longer have joint pain. I transformed my energy, my digestion, my hormones, and my relationship with my body. And I became passionate about helping other women do the same.

Today, I work with women who are burned out, exhausted, and tired of feeling dismissed— whether they're navigating autoimmune conditions, chronic inflammation, stubborn digestive issues, or hormonal imbalances. Women who are ready to stop guessing and start understanding what their unique body truly needs.

My Approach

How I Work

My approach is integrative, flexible, and deeply personalized—no rigid protocols or one-size-fits-all plans. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Nervous System First

Healing happens when your body feels safe. We prioritize calming your nervous system—because no amount of perfect eating helps if you're stuck in survival mode.

Root Cause Focus

I look at why you're feeling this way, not just what to eat. We address the underlying imbalances that are keeping you stuck.

Flexible & Personalized

No rigid protocols or one-size-fits-all plans. I get to know YOU—your symptoms, your story, your life—and create a sustainable approach that actually fits.

Gentle Herbalism

When appropriate, I incorporate gentle, supportive herbs that have been used for centuries to support women's health.

Mindful Eating

It's not just what you eat—it's how. We cultivate presence and pleasure in nourishing your body.

Accountability & Support

Change is hard. I'm here to support you between sessions, answer questions, and keep you on track.

Specialties & Training

Where I Can Help You Most

If you're navigating any of these, you're in the right place. My training and ongoing study center on the challenges that keep women stuck—despite doing everything right.

Digestive & Gut Health

Bloating, discomfort after meals, reactions to foods that used to feel fine. Together we explore the daily nutrition and lifestyle patterns that help your gut feel more at ease.

Chronic Inflammation & Fatigue

Persistent low energy, joint aches, flare-ups that come and go. I support the daily nutrition and lifestyle choices that help you feel steadier—alongside the medical care you already have.

Women's Hormone Health

Unpredictable cycles, mood and energy shifts through the month or through life seasons. We look at the patterns that help your body feel more balanced.

Burnout & Nervous System Support

Wired-but-tired, trouble sleeping, can't seem to slow down. We start by helping your body feel safe enough to settle.
